Amazing vegan vietnamese food!
The food is very tasty - there are 5 stars here! Beware of the seats behind the bar, here the service is mediocre.
My absolute favourite in Munich! Been here several times and all my non-vegan friends and family have loved it as well. The food and ambiance is perfect
The food was incredibly delicious - you can taste that there are good ingredients that are used and you don't feel bad afterwards! Great team - we will definitely be back :)
At the moment, unfortunately, only pick-up is possible, but the shop looks nice and comfortably furnished. Prices initially seemed overpriced to me, but the lunch specials are fair! I had M10, either soup or spring soup with every lunch menu. Portion was bigger than expected and was adequately full. Tofu and seitan were very flavorful and tasted very good with the peanut sauce in the dish. I would love to come back and try more dishes
Really yummy vegan food. 100% recommended.
The food is good, similar with dishes I tried in my Asian trips, but the service is horrible. Despite the fact that I had a reservation, I was asked twice while eating if I am paying or not because other customers were looking for a table. I had to ask three times to get a dessert, waiting for more than 40 minutes. The biggest surprise was the payment methods (cash or EC card) and I was lucky to have some cash with me.
Had the 31. My quang. Super delicious!
Food was ok. With a price of more than € 16 for a tofu rice main course, I expect that the food will taste different / better than 2 out of 3 other Vietnamese people.
Besides Max Prett and Bodhi, we also wanted to try a vegan Asian and were not disappointed with Soy! We had the spring rolls as a starter. Incredibly tasty, very different from many Asians. The filling was made from a tofu mushroom mixture - together with the soy sauce served with it, it was a poem. Main courses were both very good too. The menu could be a bit nicer, somehow makes a cheap standard impression, which does not do justice to the dishes.
all great.
We had made a reservation, had to wait a bit, but were still very "looked after", so that it was absolutely no problem to wait. Drinks were brought wrong in the first run, but in the end everything worked out and the food was really very good!
Great vegan restaurant
The food, especially the traditional dishes, are delicious. Unfortunately, the meat imitations are not recommended. Service was very friendly. Card payment is only possible from € 10.
Nice taste, also usually I don't like tofu, but here was quite good
The food is good but clearly overpriced. The service is the bottom drawer. You really get breakfast here, commerce is the top priority. After we had eaten and didn't order anything else, we were referred directly to the bar and not even friendly.
Very friendly staff, nice vibe and a good amount of options on the menu. Would definitely go back :)
Amazing food and atmosphere
Great food and presentation, however inattentive staff and the don’t respect the Corona measures, way too many people in the restaurant too close together
We had four starters and to mains, together with to beers. Every bite was amazing. The food is delicious, the flavours are rich, the service is very efficient and the prices are ok.
We were here on a Friday and it took a while to get our turn, but it's perfectly fine. Drinks came quickly and the service was always very nice. Unfortunately, the starters were delayed about 5 minutes, which was a shame, especially with a soup. The main courses were great, unfortunately a bit unhappy with my companion, but it was due to the taste, he had skipped something on the menu :) I knew Vietnamese coffee differently, but the variant there was also good. All in all, not cheap but definitely a place where you can have a good time with friends :).
The food was great, but extremely expensive. The service was very pleasant. We always made sure that everything fits. A negative point, however, is that we were asked to leave immediately after dinner, as the table was immediately reserved elsewhere.
We have been there twice so far, each on Tuesdays. The first time we got a great seat in the back of the restaurant, the service was on the ball and we were completely satisfied. The Tuesday before last it was already quite full and we sat at the tables behind the bar. The service here was a complete disaster. We had to wait a long time for the drinks / desserts (we asked several times whether they had forgotten our drinks) The dishes were served spicy, although we asked to leave out the spiciness. The food was delicious and we also like the modern interior. We don't yet know whether we'll come again.
Great vegan food and nice atmosphere - unfortunately a bit noisy as soon as all tables are occupied. Large selection of different dishes - we recommend using one of the rice platters. My friend, the all-eater, was also very impressed.
Good food and serving! Worth a visit
Very good vegan food and cocktails
Super friendly staff and really delicious food. Recommended to do a reservation. Also they do not accept credit cards outside from Germany
AMAZING food! Best food we ate in München. The combinations are spot on and super special. I would not know how to make at home, exactly what I like from an outdoor food experience.
We had ordered rice table number 2 for 2 people. The starters were good, but only one of the two main courses was tasty. The prices are excessive, because other Asian restaurants offer better and cheaper food. I had ordered an IceTea, but for the high price of 5.50 I had expected more, because it had hardly any taste.
We had a wonderful evening at Soy. Celebrated their birthday here and were surprised by the staff (on their own initiative!) With a free dessert including table fireworks. The food was great! Large portions, nicely presented, great taste. Likewise the homemade drinks! Our dog was kindly provided with water immediately. We will definitely be back!
The place is well set up, and efficiently run, and has a nice concept. I'm not a vegan, and found several of my dishes slightly lacking. However, the experience was good, and they were trying interesting concepts, so I will probably go again and recommend you give them a try. Having read a few other reviews, I think they likely need to up their chili, herbs and spices game, and probably bring a tiny bit more salt.
Kudos for the concept and the nice interior, however the food was pretty repeatible (either tofu, mushrooms or both) and I was missing the unique herbs that make Vietnamese cuisine.
Very tasty food. Unfortunately, the distance rules that apply due to the pandemic are not being adhered to. The tables are less than half a meter apart and the place was extremely full. That shouldn't actually be.
Vegan? Really everything vegan? That's how it is, and in a nice atmosphere, sitting outside is also possible, the traffic is limited. Payment in cash and with an EC card is possible. Perhaps a little excessive in terms of price, on the other hand good and tasty portions. Friendly and fast service.
The restaurant was recommended by many bloggers. You have to say that I am used to incredibly good Asian and also purely vegan Asian food from Berlin, which is why I may rate a bit more strictly, but I only get 4 stars. You got the food super quickly, I suspect that the food was pre-cooked and warmed up (see the edges on the pans and I ordered it extra hot and it wasn't particularly hot). The food was tasty, but nothing special. For being recommended so many times, I was a little disappointed. Good food, but nothing special, if you ever ate vegan Asian food in Berlin. I felt like the food was precooked and just reheated when ordered. A lot of bloggers recommended it, but therefore I was a little disappointed.
Very good quality and taste. Service is friendly. Ambience comfortably dimmed and a little too dark for a meal for my taste. Very well priced for relatively simple food from Asian cuisine. Overall recommendable.
Tasty
Nice atmosphere, nice food but overpriced! The interior is very modern (inside) and the staff is friendly. Many outside seatings but next to busy street. There are not many “special” vegan dishes. Mostly tofu and seitan. Big portions, but disproportionately expensive (e.g. common curry dish with tofu is over 15€). Can recommend the mango-shake!
Very tasty food (I'm not vegan), nice drinks however, the service level is quite low. We would have ordered more drinks but had no chance. Also, no covid distancing while sitting inside. It was packed with people and even more queuing at the entrance. Very loud inside, we needed to scream to reach other to have a conversation. But it looks really lovely inside.
The food was good. Fresh ingredients and good portions. Nevertheless, price-performance is not really justified. We often had to wait or ask the service staff for new drinks. A surcharge is required for changing the insert. Card payment is not desired.
Food was good but it took over an hour to arrive. Even the drinks took 40 minutes and then we needed to ask to pay multiple times. Maybe we came on an especially busy night ?♀️
The food is really delicious and even better than in ,,normal" restaurants. Even meat eaters are able to order meat immitat and it tastes like real meat. Just Fascinating
Nice ambience, you can also sit outside (please tell us when you make your reservation!). Had ordered various small dishes, about a third of which was very good, a third good and we would no longer order the last third. So there is still room for improvement. You could also do without the same decoration from lettuce leaf and orange when serving the dishes. Somehow it is no longer up to date. Service and prices were fine.
Amazing place, great looking and the feed is splendid. Presented very nicely. I had red curry with rice, which had an amazing spicy after kick delivered with little delay. Just spectacular.
Average food. Nicely arranged but very average quality of food.
They have absolutely wonderful experience of vegan foods.. Service was great and very helpful staff
It was a very good experience! Thank you very much! Here is my feedback: > The location is awesome, high class design and cozy atmosphere. > The self-made ice-teas were so well conceptualized and very tasty (especially "Zen Garden" with Avocado and coconut). >The service is very nice and welcoming. > Well structured menu with not to many items. > The appetizers (Tapas) were brought within 10 min and very well decorated. > The main dish (Vegan Pho & My Quang) were fantastic as well: full, fruity and spicy broth with a lot of items in one bowl. > Even non-vegan will like the dishes. > Good service team looking around to fulfill guests wishes > We will come back for other dishes!
Awesome vegan food, recommended!
Lovely ambient and even better food!
The best vegan restaurant in Munich I've been so far! Beutifully arranged, the staff is super nice and the food is amazing. We ordered tapas (yes, it is a vietnamese restaurant!) - of course way too many (the portions are quite large) and it was delicious! We'll definitely visit the place again!
